Alloy625 is a nickel chromium cobalt based high-temperature resistant stainless steel with a chromium content greater than 12% and nickel content greater than 18%, which has undergone solution treatment. It is mainly used for making parts that work at high temperatures.
Corrosion resistance:
It has high corrosion resistance in the atmosphere and can resist various corrosive media and acid, alkali, and salt solutions in the ocean and chemical industry atmosphere; Good corrosion resistance in oxidizing agents such as concentrated sulfuric acid, nitric acid, and formic acid; It also has good corrosion resistance to alkali solution, most organic acids and Mineral acid.
Process characteristics:
Hot cracks are prone to occur during welding. The same type of chromium molybdenum steel electrode is easy to crack when it is used for Shielded metal arc welding backing, so E4303 electrode or E4262 welding wire shall be used for welding. If gas shielded welding is used, the MIG2A1B type flux cored argon arc welding machine must be used and the operating procedures must be strictly followed.
