Usually, flanging process is the last processing process of forming the contour shape or three-dimensional shape of stamping parts. Flanging part is mainly used to connect stamping parts (welding, riveting, bonding, etc.), and some flanging is the requirement of product streamline or aesthetics.
The stamping direction of flanging is not necessarily consistent with the movement direction of the slider of the press, so the location of the flanging blank in the die should be considered first in the flanging process. The correct flanging direction should provide favorable conditions for flanging deformation as much as possible, so that the movement direction of the punch or die is perpendicular to the flanging contour surface, so as to reduce the lateral pressure and stabilize the position of the flanging part in the flanging die.
The most widely used iron white copper is BFe10-1-1 (c70600) and BFe30-1-1 (c71500). When the mass fraction of Ni is 30% and 10%, the passivation range of the alloy is wide and the corrosion resistance is the best. And the alloy also has super strong corrosion resistance to seawater erosion, which is called "offshore engineering alloy"
Copper nickel alloy copper 90/10 and copper nickel alloy copper 70/30 are used in seawater condenser system, seawater desalination plant and chemical plant piping system because of their good corrosion resistance to seawater.
