PVC is the abbreviation of polyvinylchloride. Its main component is PVC. It is a kind of material with other components added to enhance its heat resistance, toughness and ductility. The top layer of the surface film is lacquer, the main component in the middle is polyvinyl chloride, and the bottom layer is the back coating adhesive.

It is one of the most popular and widely used synthetic materials in the world. It is the second most widely used synthetic material in the world. According to statistics, in 1995 alone, PVC production in Europe was about 5 million tons, while its consumption was 5.3 million tons. In Germany, the average production and consumption of PVC is 1.4 million tons.

PVC pipe (divided into PVC-U pipe, PVC-M pipe and PVC-O pipe) is made of PVC resin, stabilizer, lubricant, etc. and then extruded by hot pressing. It is the first plastic pipe developed and applied.

PVC-U pipe has strong corrosion resistance, easy adhesion, low price and hard texture. However, due to the leakage of PVC-U monomer and additives, it is only suitable for the water supply system with the delivery temperature not exceeding 45 ℃. Plastic pipes are used for drainage, waste water, chemicals, heating and cooling liquid, food, ultra pure liquid, mud, gas, compressed air and vacuum system applications.

PVC-O pipe, the Chinese name of biaxial oriented PVC, is the latest evolution form of PVC pipe. For the pipe made by special oriented processing technology, the PVC-U pipe produced by extrusion method is stretched axially and radially, so that the long chain molecules of PVC in the pipe are arranged in biaxial alignment, and a new PVC pipe with high strength, high toughness, high impact resistance and fatigue resistance is obtained.

Drying treatment: usually no drying treatment is required.

Melting temperature: 185 ~ 205C.

Mold temperature: 20 ~ 50c.

Injection pressure: up to 1500bar holding pressure: up to 1000bar injection speed: in order to avoid material degradation, the injection speed is generally equivalent.

Runner and gate: all conventional gates can be used. If machining smaller parts, it is better to use a needle tip gate or a submerged gate; for thicker parts, it is better to use a fan gate. The minimum diameter of needle type gate or submerged gate shall be 1mm; the thickness of fan-shaped gate shall not be less than 1mm.

Typical uses: water supply pipeline, household pipeline, house wall panel, commercial machine shell, electronic product packaging, medical equipment, food packaging, etc.

Features:

1. It has good tensile and compressive strength: but its flexibility is not as good as other plastic pipes.

2. Low fluid resistance: PVC-U pipe has very smooth wall and little fluid resistance. Its roughness coefficient is only 0.009, and its water delivery capacity can be increased by 20% compared with cast iron pipe of the same diameter and 40% compared with concrete pipe.

3. Excellent corrosion resistance and drug resistance: PVC-U pipe has excellent acid resistance, alkali resistance and corrosion resistance, which is not affected by moisture and soil pH, and does not need any anti-corrosion treatment when laying the pipe.

4. Good water tightness: the installation of PVC-U pipe has good water tightness whether it is connected by adhesive or rubber ring.

5. Anti bite: PVC-U tube is not a nutrient source, so it will not be eroded by rodents. According to experiments conducted by the National Health Foundation in Michigan, rats do not bite PVC-U pipes.
